It’s June. It is the time when we often reflect on our childhood memories of our father. He was our earthly provider. He was our earthly protector. He was our source of guidance in all matters great and small. He was a teacher and sometimes a patient guest at a tea party or our music recital (smiles). The key to your pleasant memories is based on two principles. The first is above all else he cared. The second thing – he was there for you.   

Was he a perfect man? Of course not. However, there is a father who is perfect. He is the one that earthly fathers turn to for guidance. Good fathers are often led by a great God. Good fathers often having a loving and trusting relationship with God. They know and appreciate the wisdom that their relationship with God offers. Good fathers lead by example. The love they show to others is often based on their relationship with God.

So, on Father’s Day praise God for the father, grandfather, uncle and etc. who God placed in your life. Be thankful for the love, the memories and all the wisdom that guides your life every day from the man who is /was your “father” on earth.
