As women when we are going somewhere special we look for the right dress. We often want a new hairstyle, manicure and the perfect make up. In other words we prepare for this special event. We will review the invitation several times to make sure that we know as much as possible about the event/occasion.  No amount of effort or preparation is too much.

How much preparation do we do to meet Jesus?  Spending time in the Word is important– so we are able to learn as much as possible about Jesus.  Prayer – communication is critical because one day we will live with Him and before that time a relationship must be established. Attending church brings about fellowship and teaches us to love others as He does in spite of our differences. It reminds us that everyone in heaven WILL NOT be exactly like us.  Yet, they too, have accepted the invitation and have a place in his heart and in heaven.

The day you go to heaven will be a special long -awaited event. Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people.  How much preparation are you doing ahead of time? The invitation has already been extended. Are you doing enough to get ready for the biggest event in your life?
 

Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you." (John 14 2)
We are told in Hebrews 11:16 that God "has prepared for them a city."
In Revelation 21:2 John saw Heaven and said that it was
"prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."
