Several years ago, a story was told about a wealthy Bostonian family that had a christening party for their baby's debut. When the mother went to the bedroom to prepare for the party, she discovered that the coats of the guests had been carelessly tossed on the bed where her baby was napping. Tragically, her baby perished under the smothering weight of the wrappings.

As you join in the activities of this holiday season, 
be careful not to suffocate Jesus with the 
hollow wrappings of busyness and commercialism. 
Remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season.

Jesus, the Son of God, is real!  
He’s more than a nativity scene to be 
purchased and displayed or 
Christmas trees, parties and presents.
He was born for our salvation.
Let’s worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!
