Inspiration for This Season of Giving

We have served in The Bailey Family ministries, i.e., E.K. Bailey Ministries, Inc. and Sheila Bailey Ministries, Inc. since their inception, as leaders in registration and bookstore. Sheila Bailey Ministries is a worthy cause that was the vision of the late Dr. E.K. Bailey, birthed through Dr. Sheila M. Bailey. We have embraced the mission of the ministry because it is God’s work. We give because Dr. Bailey has become to our generation one of God's greatest leaders in Christian education and spiritual development of women. Sheila Bailey Ministries ministers to women in all seasons of life, encourages them to overcome life’s challenges, and empowers them to utilize their spiritual gifts and walk in their divine purpose.

When I joined Concord Church in 1978 I admired Dr. Sheila Bailey from afar. We later became friends and I saw God moving in her life. I saw her love for teaching God's word, ministering to women of all seasons and being a friend to many.
When her beloved husband and our pastor, Dr. E.K. Bailey, passed I saw God again working in her life by turning her mourning into ministry. When Dr. Sheila co-authored the book Further In and Deeper Down I wanted to read it. When she taught the class on Makeovers with Leftovers I wanted to attend it. When she had her STAND conference I wanted to volunteer and be a part of what God was doing in the life of her ministry.
When she had a fund raiser, and I gave, she mentioned about being a partner with her as she reached out to women. I've seen the fruits of her labor through Sheila B. Ministries when we go to the Letot Juvenile center and the girls can't wait to talk with her and share their accomplishments, like a poem they've written or a picture they've drawn.
When God is doing something in someone's life we should all want to join them in carrying out that calling. I give monthly to this ministry because I want to be a part of what God is doing and will continue to do through Sheila B Ministries. Don't you?
