He's All I've Got Left
December 29, 2020
This morning the song "Through It All" composed by Andre Crouch has been resonating in my heart:
I've learned to depend upon His Word...
There's been times I felt so all alone
But in my lonely hours
Yes, those precious lonely hours
Jesus lets me know that I was His own."
The description of your "All" may be different than mine but our "All" is filled with a multiplicity of unexpected and unwelcomed life changing experiences during the pandemic. Through it all God has been and remains faithful. The prophet Jeremiah teaches us what to do when we reach a point of despair in Lamentations 3:21, "This I recall to my mind. Therefore, I have hope.”– (NKJV)
Jeremiah's continued words in chapter 3 from The Message, speaks clearly in our contemporary language when he turns to God:
Heartfelt ThanksI am deeply appreciative to have had the opportunity to minister the Word virtually through the invitation of the following churches during the 2020 pandemic:
Thank you for blessing Sheila Bailey Ministries during 2020. Your donations of love and sacrifice have allowed us to give financial gifts to individuals as well as Exodus Ministries and Hopeful Solutions. We are thankful to Concord's WOW Grow group, led by Jennifer Neal of which Lady Stephanie Carter is the Director, for partnering with us in support of Exodus Ministries. We look forward to our continued support of Letot Center for Girls with Annie Price. At the end of this unprecedented year of 2020 may your disposition and faith cause you to declare like Jeremiah, "I'm sticking with God. He's all I've got left."
Looking Ahead to 2021Since the Bible declares "we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus" we will be giving more of our time, talent and treasure to “ministering to women and girls in every season of their lives." In 2021 by the grace of God we anticipate doing more for His glory! Continue to read Jeremiah 3 in The Message:
We look forward to seeing you in January 2021. Blessings upon you in the New Year!
