Our confinement does not confine God!
In the midst of escalating COVID cases and crime God continues to "work it out for our good and His Glory." I've vacillated from adjusting during the spring to the slower pace of seeing the unwanted and unnoticeable beauty of a gecko on my patio screen to crying out like the prophet Habakkuk, "How long Lord shall I cry, and you will not hear?"In my solitude of listening to heartbreaking news about relatives and friends, I had to position myself like Habakkuk in solitary confinement, waiting to hear what He had to say to me. His inaudible voice penetrated my heart and mind as He said, "The just shall live by faith." Every believer must a living faith in Jesus Christ to worship Him, witness for Him and do the courageous work that needs to be done.
What has God done for you during this pandemic? Pause and write it down or key it into your notes. Continue to write... Through the losses and the gains, the sorrows, and the joys you can lift your eyes to the heavens whence comes your help and declare like the Psalmist, "If the Lord had not been on my side where would I be?" Our confinement has not confined God! He is ALL that His Word tells us about Him. The song of old rings aloud in my heart: He is blessing me, right now, oh, right now!" Tear-stained eyes! Yet He is blessing me. So, give thanks to the Lord for He is good!!
Prepare your Thanksgiving give away. Give His love to others by prayer, an encouraging word, gift cards, cash apps, food, etc. Thank you for blessing Sheila B. Ministries with your prayerful, loving financial support. Walk on by faith trusting Him "who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than we can ask or think."
Watch Him do it as He works through you.
