Choose to Believe

August 18, 2026

In these days of challenging times, our faith sometimes falters as we consider our increasing obligations. The paycheck seems to take care of less. The bills/charges seem to require more. We find ourselves consumed with our responsibilities. Our duties are numerous, and our strength is often waning.  We, in the midst of this, may temporarily lose sight of who our provider really is. If we focus only on what we can do, we may even reconsider what we can do to help others.

Yet, your choices are examples of your faith.  Continue even in difficult times, to give to others. God sometimes tests us to see if we believe in his supply. Your time, your talent and even your financial sacrifice can be a test of faith. Yet, no matter how you choose to help others, know that it can be used by God. Remember He will bless you as you bless others.  Accepting these tests often yield powerful testimonies. Do you believe that God is your provider? Do you believe that He is a “need meeter”?

Serve faithfully, trust inherently and watch him bless abundantly.

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” – 2 Corinthians 9:8

“Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.'” – John 6:35

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” – Malachi 3:10

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” – Hebrews 11:1
