At Some Point, You’ll Need to Fill Up

Lately, many of us are worried about the high cost of filling up our gas tanks. Though gas is becoming more and more expensive, it is still necessary. Try as we might, our vehicles will never get us to where we need to go if the gas tanks are empty.

There are times in our lives when we, just like our vehicles, find ourselves running until we’re almost empty, and that can be very costly, too. We allow daily challenges to exhaust us. We let what others say about us or expect of us make us feel inadequate. We may even become so preoccupied with the opinions of others that we feel overwhelmed.

Life’s experiences can be both good and bad, but don’t allow others to define you – they did not create you! When you find yourself worn down by life and feeling empty, remember you have access to gas that is free! All you need to do is REFILL ON GOD’S WORD. His Word and the Holy Spirit will re-energize your heart, mind and soul and help you get back on track, successfully navigating life’s negative experiences.

So, don’t let your temporary outlook affect your future outcome. Trust God to help you discover and develop into the person He wants you to be. Just fill up on His promises and watch your emptiness disappear.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope  by the power of the Holy Spirit.
