A God of Bigger

November 14, 2021

November 2021 Thought of the Month:

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" Ephesians 3:20

He is a God of Bigger
If someone asks you if you are a believer- you would readily answer yes.  Yet, why when God answers our prayers –are we often surprised.  As believers we set goals and attempt to pray them into fruition. We need to remember that faith lays the groundwork for not just blessings but abundant blessings.
Recently, we saw God answer prayer through the work, sacrifice and benevolence of others. Our ministry set a goal for North TX Giving Day. God not only helped us to reach the goal but to exceed the goal.  Faith helped us set the goal.  Now gratitude helps us remember who helped us to exceed the goal.

What can each of us learn from this?
  1. Pray to God for “big” blessings. Don’t be surprised if he chooses to deliver “bigger” blessings.  He is a God of “bigger”.
  2. Never forget to thank God and to thank those who worked in his behalf.
  3. As a believer- cling to the God that keeps his promises.
Thanks be to God for the abundant blessing we received through North TX Giving Day. Thanks be to God for the many people who opened their hearts and shared their finances as we continue to serve others.
