The Father With No Shortcomings

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God;
and so we are. (1 John 3: 1, ESV)
Being a good father is a demanding job. The duties of a father are numerous. He’s a provider, a protector, and a problem solver. This job is never ending no matter how old your child is. The job description is all inclusive- duties as assigned.
Many men accept the job willingly and do it well. Yet, as we know, all humans have shortcomings. However, there is one who is an exemplary father to all who seek Him. He knows exactly what we need and when we need it. After all, he is our “true” creator. There is nothing he cannot do or will not do for his children. His abilities are only surpassed by his love for us. He is the father with no shortcomings.
As we celebrate our earthly fathers in June, let’s remember to praise God, The Father, for being the father for every situation. Return to News
