Let Your New Stuff Be His Stuff

August 3, 2023

Do you still have dreams?  No, not the ones that are in the midst of your sleep. I am talking about the ones that are the focus of your life. If not, when did these dreams die?  Was it when you got divorced? Was it when you didn’t get promoted? Was it when you lost a loved one? Was it when you looked in the mirror and realized that the smile lines of your youth had become the wrinkles of your present?

Circumstances CHANGE.  Life’s disappointments happen to good people, including the most devout Christian. When these changes come you need an inward brace for outward circumstances.  Without this you may feel disillusioned, discouraged and defeated. The unexpected can leave you bruised, buried in self pity and broken.

Your circumstances may surprise you but they never surprise God. Changing times are times for God. He can help you take inventory of your life assets. Remember He NEVER allows any circumstance to take all. His resources are your restoration. Seek him.  Wait on him to deliver on his promises. Allow his promises to be the foundation for new dreams.

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
