Be Like-Minded, Not Narrow-Minded

How many times have you formed a negative opinion about someone who lives life differently than you do? It’s not that they are mean or rude. It’s just that their approach to life is different. One of you is the one who makes lists, is introverted, and analyzes every decision. The other one, who may be a family member, is seemingly carefree, extraverted, and always willing to jump right in.
Here is a shocking thought: neither personality is wrong. A second surprising thought is that both need to be accepted. A third thought, and the most important one, is that God created both because both are needed.
Just as with Mary and Martha- great things are accomplished when each person is allowed to operate in their uniqueness. Each personality type is like-minded in this manner- they are often doing their best to be productive.
Whichever one you are, pray that you will be able to see how much the opposite approach is needed. If you welcome the uniqueness of the other one, like-mindedness will be born both in your heart and in your mind.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.
